zOoMEtRy



If anyone ever asks how I come up with ideas about what to draw, my answer would be: Try to make something fun everyday. 

After completing Something in the Woods and Oddjects, I got a little anxious not knowing what I was going to do next. You’d always hear about people trying to outdo their last project and how their biggest competition is themself. To this, I say bah humbug~! Do we really need to make an enemy out of ourselves to become better? “Better” is subjective anyways, isn’t it?

So, I decided “better” for me would be “funner”. 


It is always easier to look for things that are fun, than things that are better. We gravitate towards things that give us joy or amusement and that’s just how zOoMETry came about. Felix shared some ugly-cute doodles of dogs from his field trip in Japan while I was playing around with a geometric ruler and the idea of using shapes to create my own ugly-cute animals just sounded like fun.

Et voila~! zOomETry now rests in this space.
